Direct Cremation
Direct cremation, sometimes referred to as unattended cremation, is an alternative to a traditional cremation funeral service. There is no service at the crematorium and mourners do not attend.
Our Direct Cremation service comprises:
advising, guiding and taking your instructions.
assisting with completing all legal documentation and delivering to the crematorium.
bringing the deceased from within a 20 mile radius of Cranleigh into our care, day or night, and closing the coffin.
(if a third party funeral director carries out the immediate bringing into their care we will collect the deceased from that funeral director and advise you of any additional cost).
simple coffin.
conveying the deceased to the crematorium of our choosing.
cremation on a day and time of our choosing
(we will inform you of the day and time so that, if you wish, you may commemorate the deceased privately).
ashes scattered at the crematorium (unwitnessed) or collected by you from us or the crematorium
no additional services may be added to those noted above.
At a cost of £1,600.00; inclusive of third party disbursements (crematorium fee and doctors’ fees)
