Services provided by Woodford Family Funeral Service
We will advise and guide you through the legal requirements involved in arranging a funeral, providing you with information on the services and products available. In that way the funeral arrangements you make are tailored to your wishes.
Arrangements can be made at a time to suit you, at your home or at our office.
Chapel of Rest
Family and friends are welcome to visit our Chapel of Rest
by appointment, whenever they wish, during or outside of
our usual office hours.
Coffins, Caskets and Urns
Our selection includes:
traditionally styled wooden coffins.
contemporary colourful or picture coffins.
environmentally friendly coffins including cardboard, willow, seagrass and bamboo.
a variety of caskets and ashes urns to choose from.
Vehicles
We can provide
Traditional motor hearse in black, silver, white or pink.
Horse-drawn hearse with two or four horses.
Non-traditional e.g. motorcycle, Land Rover, VW campervan.
Limousines to seat up to 6 passengers.
Saloon car to seat up to 3 passengers.
Donations and Retiring Collections
We can receive donations and forward these to your chosen charity.
We will acknowledge receipt to donors who provide us with their contact details.
A list of donors’ names will be sent to you and we will confirm the total amount that we send to the charity.
We can make arrangements for a retiring collection to be taken at the funeral service.
Newspaper Notices
We can assist with the wording of obituary, acknowledgement
or in memoriam notices and arrange publication in local and
national press.
Printed Funeral Stationery
We can provide, via a local printer, a range of printed stationery including Orders of Service and In Memoriam cards.
Memorials
A comprehensive brochure for new memorials is available on request.
Free estimates are available for cleaning and refurbishing, or adding to existing memorials.
A selection of flower containers and vases for memorials and ashes graves are also available.
Our stonemason will be pleased to meet with you to discuss your requirements.
